Well it is Monday and I had a great weekend.

Friday I had to go to Gataote, Losasaneng and Kameelputs. Always great fun.
These are 3 small villages close to Spitskop dam where I have to collect money for
clients. There are really in the middle of nowhere. But I like going there
because you see how people can still greet you with a smile even if they don't
have a lot. Shows us what we need to be thankful for. Many of my clients are
getting state pension of R1020. This is roughly $90 a month. They have to buy
food, school stuff for kids and pay debt with this. In old days this would be
easy because they had cattle, sheep and grew their own maze but somehow they
stopped doing this. And there children use to work in big cities and sent money
to their own kids which grand parents took care off. But with AIDS and other
social economical factors this does not happen anymore. So now sometime 1 grandparent
has to take care of 10 with his pension.

It did rain the night before and during the day which makes for rough going
on the dirt roads in this area. But had a good day and got home safely.
Friday night me and my wife watched the result of America’s got talent and were
shocked that our pick ended 3de. It just shows that America does prefer singing
talent over real talent. The way I look at is the act should be the one you
will need to go and see live and not someone you can wait till cd comes out.
But also know that singers do make more money for show's producers since have
more ways to get income. But Eugene is a great singer so good luck to him.

Saturday I had to go to Rietfontein, a small village just behind Sekhing.
Also had to pick up money from clients there. But luckily did not take a lot of
my weekend’s time. I normally don't work over weekends. It nice because time me
and my wife can spend together. She also does not work over weekends. the
afternoon I spend sanding down a cupboard that will be used in baby room. Was
hard work but think well worth it in end.

Sunday, well we normally go to church on Sunday mornings and spend day
together or visit family. We have a close relationship to our family. My parents
and sister lives close by and wife's live in Johannesburg but we like to visit
as often as we can. Not been there in while since a 5hour drive and my wife
says to long for her being 7months pregnant. But sure we will visit a lot more
after our son is born.

Well back to Sunday. After church we oiled the cupboard and started with
baby room. It not done yet, but looks like a baby room. My wife still wants to
paint a few pictures we can put on walls. Will post pics as soon as they are
done. So that my weekend in nutshell.
Today the week starts again and i am off to Mammutla and Kgomotso today.
